3. Flaxseed and Sesame Seeds

Thanks to the high amount of fiber it contains, flaxseed is a great natural laxative. However, flaxseed oil doesn’t contain fiber, so make sure you use only the seeds and not the oil when you want to get a constipation relief.

Sesame seeds on the other hand, soften the intestine content, easing its elimination. Mix 2-3 tablespoons of flaxseeds and 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds, and eat the mixture right away.

4. Sunflower Oil

This oil improves digestion and bowel movement. Therefore, consumption of 1 tablespoon of pure sunflower oil on an empty stomach is recommended as a great way to relieve constipation. You can consume up to 2-3 tablespoons of this oil throughout the day.

Mix one cup of figs, one cup of raisins, one cup of dates, one cup of pitted prunes, one cup of prune concentrate or prune juice, and one cup of currants in a blender or grinder. You will get a very thick consistency so make sure you pulse the blender every couple of seconds to prevent possible damage. Consume 2 tablespoons of this mixture a day to relieve your constipation.
